TONING YELLOW EXTENSIONS... When I'm applying extensions to icy blonde hair, I will normally pre-tone before applying with @myblndn Brighten You shampoo. It's my favorite purple shampoo to use for this because it has a very gentle toning formula, unlike some other more intense purple shampoos that tend to overtone extensions. Extension hair always grabs more intense than natural hair, so it doesn't take long. The entire process took about 3 minutes. Rather than submerging the entire extension, I always do the top half first because it takes longer to tone, while the ends tone a lot quicker (just be careful that you don't "overlap" when you submerge and create a cool band!). If you're working with tape-in extensions, don't worry about the tape getting wet; as long as they are allowed to dry out completely it won't effect the tape sticking at all.
